Pontlands Park Wedding Film – Melissa & Tristan

Pontlands Park Wedding Film – Shot on location at Pontlands Park, Chelmsford, Essex
August 2014

I first met Melissa and Tristan fresh off the plane from Houston, Texas where they had been living for the past 6 months. Even at that early stage of their wedding planning, they had a lot of things sorted. ‘It’s going to look incredible” said Tristan.

And he wasn’t wrong.

Melissa and Tristan had transformed Pontlands Park, a venue that I’ve shot at many times before. The flowers and table setting were stunning, perhaps the best use of space and colour at a Wedding I’ve ever seen. Add to this a world class lighting rig and sound system, and I knew by the morning of this wedding that this was going to be a great day.

Their service was a traditional affair at the small and coxy All Saints Church in Hutton, and although I was restricted in where I could stand (“you stand there and do not move” I was told!) I got some pretty good footage during the ceremony.

Both Melissa and Tristan can be rightly proud of their day, well planned and thought out with no expense spared. I hope this film conveys the day well.

Shot with a Canon 5d Mk2, 550d and a XA10

Graded with Magic Bullet
Audio mixed in Dobly with Adobe Audition
