Preston Court Wedding Video – Maria & Keith

Preston Court Wedding Video – Maria & Keith – Shot on location at Preston Court, Kent
August 2016

I had such an enjoyable day filming Maria & Keith’s Preston Court Wedding Video. This wedding had all the elements – great weather, wonderful location & a generous, gorgeous couple.

Preston Court was a little further than I had initially anticipated, I’m lucky enough to do a handful of Kent Weddings a year, but it was only when I looked on the map a few days before that I realised it was quite a distance from my Coggeshall base. As always, this wasn’t an issue – an early start & a trip over the Dartford Bridge before an enjoyable summer drive to the venue. Maria & Keith were blessed with a beautiful day, bright blue skies & decent temperatures meant they could really show off this venue.

And what a venue it was. Preston Court is stunning – the house, the church on the grounds, the barn & the carousel. All elements that helped to create a stunning day. Of course the carousel was central to this wedding. So many guests enjoyed the ride that it seemed an obvious focus during this film. Although this was the first time I’ve ever filmed going backwards on a spinning ride. By the end of the day my head was all over the place & I needed a sit down.

It was great to work alongside Amy Fanton who had some wonderful creative ideas & was a joy to work alongside. A quick note about the horses. Amy & I had taken Maria & Keith into the fields for some sunset shots after the speeches. During the shoot we were approached by the pair of stunning horses. Neither seemed threatening, indeed, they seemed to enjoy the attention of the cameras. So much so that it became difficult not to get them in shot. In the end I embraced it & just filmed with them both there….Maria & Keith didn’t seem to mind their presence.

Maria & Keith produced an incredible day & I was delighted to be able to capture it. I really hope they both love this Preston Court Wedding Video.
